Step 1
Cylinder cleaning
The cylinder is thoroughly cleaned using a range of solvents to remove all contaminants effectively.
Step 2
Base coat
Multiple base coatings are applied to the cylinder within a controlled clean room environment to ensure precision and maintain quality.
Step 3
Sub coat
Multiple layers of sub coat are applied to the cylinder within a controlled clean room environment.

Step 4
Image Coat
A light-sensitive image coating is carefully applied to the cylinder. Multiple layers are added to achieve the required depth of the microstructure with precision.

Step 5
Imaging
The micro/nano structure is precisely copied from the polymer master on to the cylinder

Step 6
Curing
The cylinder goes through a curing cycle under the UV Light

Step 8
Re-Imaging
After producing 50,000 to 200,000 linear metres of output the cylinder is removed and prepared for a new imaging cycle

Step 9
Grinding
A grinder is used to remove the existing coating. The cylinder is ready to go to step 1.
